Tourist operators report rise in business.

Tourist operators throughout the North Bay region say business improved by five per cent over 1999, according to survey statistics released last month.

The numbers came from the annual State of Business Survey mailed to about 300 members of the AlmaguinNipissing Travel Association which included hotel, campground and lodge operators.
