A Toyota forklift dealer since 1976, Equipment World Inc. is the second oldest Toyota forklift dealer in Canada, and takes pride in its strong network of service, parts and product knowledge.

Equipment World boasts an impressive ranking as the No. 1 Toyota forklift dealer in the country.

Toyota is the largest forklift manufacturer in the world, and according to Lyle Knudsen, Equipment World has consistently maintained over 30 per cent share in their APR, a statistic derived from the Industrial Truck Association rating.

Traditionally, Equipment World has been the highest market share dealer within the North American market.

"We participate regularly in quarterly Canadian Toyota dealer network roundtable meetings," Knudsen says. "With only 7 Dealer Principles (38 branch locations) in Canada, we are part of a relatively small, but effective dealer group."

"Toyota fits our business philosophy very well, with its Kaizen principle (Kaizen being the Japanese art of continual improvement)."

Equipment World has developed a strong network of service, parts, and product knowledge. Recently, they have introduced Toyota tow tractors to their product line. "Toyota specializes as innovators in safety and ergonomic design," says Knudsen. "It's a company that has always been a leader, advancing ahead of other manufacturers."

As a Toyota dealer, Equipment World has repeatedly received numerous prestigious awards, including the Quality Dealer Award for Outstanding Achievement, as well as awards for 10, 20, and then 25 years outstanding service, as a Toyota dealer.
