Ernie Card, P.Eng., Chairman and CEO is pleased to announce the following recent developments in the Thunder Bay office, resulting from Wardrop's continued growth and expansion:

Brent Thompson, P.Eng., Vice President, has been named Senior Vice President in charge of the Northern Ontario Division and the Mining Division. Mr. Thompson was also named President in charge of Wardrop's United States operations. Mr. Thompson joined the firm in 1988 and was appointed Principal and General Manager of Northern Ontario in 1998. He was appointed Director of the company in 2000 and Vice President of the firm in 2001. Mr. Thompson has worked throughout Wardrop's Northern American and African operations.

Len Hoey, C.Tech., has been named General Manager of the Northern Ontario Division and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Wardrops Northern Ontario Division. Len joined the firm in 1990, and was promoted to Manager of Environmental Services in 1998. He was appointed a Principal of the firm in 2001. Mr. Hoey brings 12 years of practical experience in the Civil Engineering and Environmental fields, and an unparalleled focus on providing quality, value added service. Len succeeds Brent Thompson, P.Eng.
