Wear your pin proud ...

It amazes me how one can visit a new town, village, community and not find a pin that represents your area. I was recently vacationing in Collingwood and my cousin was determined to find a pin that represented the area, as her overseas friend's last name was Collingwood. So we went searching for something that had Collingwood on it, a t-shirt, premium, some sort of trinket & trash ... nowhere to be found. We went to the tourist information centre and they had every pamphlet and booklet produced across their region and beyond, but no pins. They recommended the city hall, which we finally found and to and behold, we got the Collingwood pin complimentary from the city.

I lived in Australia when I was in grade 10, as my dad was on a teachers exchange program. Of course, we brought every Ontario and Canadian pin we could gather to share with our new friends abroad. We wear our pins proud, Oh Canada.
