Summary:

A young person wearing studded gloves was charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, contrary to s. 88(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.

The Alberta Provincial Court, Youth Division, held that one of the gloves constituted a prohibited weapon under s. 2(b) of the Prohibited Weapons Order, No. 5, and convicted the young person.
