Beginning with this issue, the Journal has a new editorial team. CJCCJ has enjoyed remarkable success in the past 11 years under the leadership of Julian Roberts as Editor, with Jean-Paul Brodeur, Tom Gabor, and John Hylton as Associate Editors and Michelle Grossman, Andre Normandeau, and Gilles Renaud as Book Review Editors. Among the many achievements of this period are the increase in the number of special issues, devoted to a single theme and published in addition to the four regular issues; the recognition, via a name change, of criminal justice as a topic of interest to the Journal; and the move to the University of Toronto Press as publisher, enabling CJCCJ to benefit from the services of UTP's highly professional journal publishing division. This issue inaugurates some changes in procedure. The Instructions to Authors have been revised to reflect our increasing dependence on electronic transmission of articles during the editorial and production processes; please see the revised Instructions on either of the Journal's Web sites. The procedures for submitting and publishing book reviews have also been revised. In 2002, the Journal began to publish book reviews on its Web site rather than in printed issues. A substantial number of Web-published book reviews have now accumulated, some in French and some in English. Book reviews will continue to be published on the Journal's two Web sites, but, beginning...
