I am pleased to announce the appointment of Pierre Tremblay, University of Montreal, as an Associate Editor. Pierre will be taking responsibility for the editorial work on manuscripts written in French, as of January 2009. I should also like to express the deep appreciation of the Editorial Committee for the work that Ron Melchers has done in this position over the past three years.
