Summary:

A fire which started on Doroschuk's land escaped onto Hallicks' land and destroyed a bin of barley worth $11,395. The Hallicks relied on the rule in Rylands v. Fletcher and on negligence.

The Saskatchewan Court of Queen's Bench dismissed Hallicks' action.
