Discharge - Conditional discharge - Upon consent to judgment for a specified sum - A bankrupt was granted a discharge on condition, inter alia, that he pay 50% of his indebtedness (originally over $300,000) - The bankrupt appealed, arguing that the condition was too onerous - The British Columbia Court of Appeal allowed the appeal and ordered that the bankrupt be discharged on condition that he consent to judgment of $50,000 in favour of the trustee in bankruptcy.
