Summary:

The plaintiff, the Northwest Territories, sued the defendants for copyright, trademark and official mark infringement and passing off, respecting the defendants' use of a particular mark, namely a polar bear. The plaintiff applied for an interlocutory injunction restraining the defendants' activities pending trial.

The Federal Court of Canada, Trial Division, dismissed the application.
