Summary:

The accused pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and to breach of recognizance of bail. He was sentenced to nine months and three months consecutive. He appealed the sentence.

The British Columbia Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal.

Sentence - Breach of recognizance or undertaking - A 42 year old drug addict pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and to breach of recognizance of bail (a condition that he be in his residence after 11 p.m.) - He sold two flaps of cocaine to an undercover officer - Lengthy criminal record - The British Columbia Court of Appeal affirmed sentences of nine months and three months consecutive.
