Summary:
The accused pleaded guilty to sexual touching of a person under age 14 and sexual assault on the same person. The accused was 48 years old. The victim, a female, was aged 11 and 12 years at the time of the offences. The accused was a "quasi-step-parent" with respect to the victim.
The Ontario Court (General Division) sentenced the accused to three years in jail for the sexual assault plus six months consecutive for the sexual touching charge.
