Criminal Law - Topic 5852

Sentence - Rape - The accused was convicted of rape and attempted rape - In both cases the victims were women alone in their apartments, which the accused entered by deception - The Manitoba Court of Appeal affirmed the sentence of the accused to two years imprisonment for attempted rape, but increased the sentence of the accused for rape from two years imprisonment to five years imprisonment to run consecutive to the other sentence.
