The Northwest Territories Supreme Court sentenced an accused to one year imprisonment upon his conviction of trafficking in marijuana under section 4(2) of the Narcotic Control Act, R.S.C. 1970, c. N-1.

Sentence - Trafficking in a narcotic (marijuana) - Accused with two previous conditions under the Narcotic Control Act - Accused continued to use marijuana after his arrest on trafficking charge - The Northwest Territories Supreme Court sentenced the accused to one year imprisonment plus probation with conditions to run one year from the expiry of sentence - See paragraph 9.
