The accused was convicted of sexual assault against his 13 year old daughter.
The New Brunswick Court of Queen's Bench, Trial Division, after giving credit of one year for pre-trial custody, sentenced the accused to two years' imprisonment. The court also ordered that the accused be registered under the Sex Offenders Registration Act for 20 years; a 10 year firearm prohibition; and that the accused provide a DNA sample for analysis.
