Summary:

Résumé:

St-Pierre attended an office Christmas party organised by his employer and the local union. Following the party, St-Pierre drove his motor vehicle while impaired, was involved in an accident and suffered serious injuries. St-Pierre sued his employer, the venue, the village, the local union and the national union. The national union moved for summary judgment dismissing the action against it.

The New Brunswick Court of Queen's Bench, Trial Division, allowed the motion.
