Summary:

A couple separated. The wife alleged that the husband was in contempt of court orders. She sought an order that he be incar­cerated for a time.

The British Columbia Supreme Court held that the husband was in contempt of certain court orders and ordered him to pay $1,054.34 to the wife pursuant to a costs award and to pay $18,500 into court. The $18,500 was approximately one-half the total of an income tax refund and a bonus received by the husband which the court had ordered preserved.
