ABOUT THE EDITORS

Shela gh Day is an expert on human rights with many years of experi-

ence working wit h governments and non-gover nmental organi zations, the

President and Senior Editor of the Canad ian Human R ights Reporter, as

well as a Dire ctor of the Poverty and Hu man Rights Centr e in Vancouver.

Lucie Lama rche is a professor of law at the Université du Québec à

Montréal (UQ ÀM). She is the former Gordon F Henderson Chai r in Human

Rights and t he former Research Director of the Human Rights Research

and Education Centre of t he University of Ottawa .

Ken Norman is a profes sor of Law at the University of Sask atchewan.
