Summary:

The accused pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and cannabis resin for the purpose of trafficking. The trial judge, in a decision not reported in this series of reports, sentenced the accused to eighteen months concurrent imprisonment on each count plus one year probation. The accused appealed the sentence.

The Saskatchewan Court of Appeal allowed the appeal and reduced the terms of imprisonment from eighteen months to one year on each count.
