SECURITIES

This term has evolved over the centuries to its current common meaning, which is to refer to

the shares and stocks of companies and corporations. The titles following in this listing relate

primarily to the term “securities” in its reference to company shares and stocks. This is an area

of primarily provincial jurisdiction with the provinces having securities acts. There is some
